ABOUT
I fell in love with music when I first started playing guitar at age 6. It was this initial fire that began my passion for music and when I later discovered EDM & House artists like David Guetta and Tiësto, music became an obsession for me. I think I had stumbled across a video of Guetta DJing in a nightclub in Ibiza when I was probably 12 (later I'd learn that the club was Pacha Ibiza, one of the most iconic clubs in the Dance Music scene, which I would visit during my birthright extension to Ibiza and watch none other than David Guetta). After that first video, I was hooked. I couldn't get enough. When I was a kid, it was all I wanted to do: watch YouTube videos of Guetta in clubs. I would watch the same videos over and over (and over again..*Fred again pun intended). After years of research, YouTube tutorials and Guetta videos, I told my parents I wanted to use my Bar-Mitzvah money to buy a MacBook (because it was what the DJ's used) and a pair of DJ speakers. We bought the computer and a pair of speakers the next day. I couldn't believe it, but, I was already booking gigs. Birthdays for friends, 20 person house parties, Shabbat dinners and lunches. I wanted to DJ every weekend for the rest of my life. And yes, my mom and dad would drop me off and pick me up from these small events when I was a kid.

This continued well through my teenage years, nearly paid all my college tuition bills and funded my caffeine addiction. It wasn't until after college that I realized DJing is not a passion for me, it was an obsession, an addiction, and something I could NEVER live without. I realized that when I wasn't actively DJing, every week, I felt groggy, angry and like something was missing. The only thing that alleviated that feeling was preparing and DJing events. Throughout the last 13 years of my life (*feeling old), I've DJ'd every event imaginable and some unimaginable, encountered every possible situation, dealt with 100s of vendors, party planners, and venues, managed live musicians & lighting/sound technicians, learned about power distribution/usage, flew to other countries to DJ and made long lasting friendships with nearly all my clients.
